Work. Walk 5 Minutes. Work again

As I mentioned in an earlier post, walking has tremendous effect on our health, from reducing risk of obesity and associated states, to prevent diabetes mellitus type II and decelerating the development of atherosclerosis… new study shows that walking just about 5 minutes at the beginning of every working hour to be a total of 30 minutes walk during a workday would influence positively your productivity, concentration and in addition reducing the dull hunger pangs that usually hit at the middle of the day which is the total opposite of what we’d expect to have..

very interesting post I’d like to share with you, can’t copy because of the copyrights, so I’m gonna share the link down below 🙂

Evolution!

Lately I was reading some physiology notes and watching some lectures, of course in the medical school we’ve been taught alot about both the normal and pathological physiology of the human being, but it is still magnificent how much you can learn further with some efforts and time, now what I really wanted to share is that lately after hours and hours of thinking and staring at different diagrams I came to a conclusion, I nowadays do not really believe in Evolution as a theory of the existence of our kind!

Simply, I can’t really absorb the idea that such a beautiful thing as me, as the human body as each one of us, with this fantastic systems and algorithms from Fight & Flight to hormones and mechanisms of surviving, that such a compatible systems working together were suddenly created randomly from collision of atoms of different amounts of different substances out of infinite amounts of nothingness..

We must have been designed, and I think our job is to know the real purpose and give our existence a real meaning.

Differences in test techniques between Russia and United States

“There should be changes in the examination techniques in the Russian universities”
Since I’ve studied in different places, I came to face various systems of testing, some of them were directed towards saving by heart the material to be tested “French system – very stupid method”, others worked on enhancing the ability of memorizing the material ,by what I call a “multiple choiceS question”, which I think is one of the most unreliable ways to test the knowledge of a student, I believe they were trying to copy (in my university) the American system of “multiple choice question” but they ended up by adding their finger-print so, as we know the “multiple choice question” is working by testing a question’s knowledge by giving multiple choices of which a ONE answer is THE MOST CORRECT, in this case surely we expect a good knowledge of the material, understanding, obviously because the answers are most likely to be very close!
